This is basically a much smaller version, here is the idea.....
Next Sunday night we get a group of us to all play in the same games (bloggerment included) and whoever wins the most cash from all the tourns combined wins the bet. I think everyone should contribute $20 to the prize pool although we can discuss this.
The way this is usaually done is X amount of players play in the same tourns. For example a couple of wks ago five of the UK's best online mtt fish (moorman et. al.) all played in about 15-20 tourns spread across ftp and stars and all bet $250 that they would win the most money from the tourns. A player called Pab who i am sure many of you have heard of won the bet and recieved a extra $1k prof for his nights work.
Obviously the core RTR memebers dont play nowhere near as high as these fish, infact Kenn is prolly the other rtr fish here thats flirts with 100 doll rebuys etc.
The smaller buyin mtts like the $5 and $11 games on Stars have about 12593858 players in and the fields are just redic so here is what i propose will do next Sunday 22nd Nov as a kinda tester....
8pm - all reg for the same 90 manner on Stars - buyin $11
8.20pm - all reg for the same 180 manner on Stars - buyin $4.40
8.40pm - all reg for the same 90 manner on Stars - buyin $22
9pm - The bloggerment - buyin $5
9.30pm - all reg for the same 180 manner on Stars - buyin $22
The the tourns are standard btw because the turbs are gay imo
So total buyin is $64.40 + the $20 prop bet?
Winner take all or maybe 70/30 for 1st and 2nd? We can discuss during the week
This is just a tiny version, what do you reckon??? We can tinker with the format and maybe make it a weekly or fortnighty thing?? I will clarify the rules at the end of the wk.
It will be good fun and we can get a good thread going with plenty of banter throughout the night. I also might run a geniune book and give people odds in which they can place a max bet (10 doll or summat) on either themselves or someone else. This is what someone did in the moorman example and it got plenty of interest (i lost $50
)
