it was quite early in a tournement, blinds were 25/50. My stack 2.6k opponents 3.1k

folds to him in cut off and raises to 150, i call with 8d9d. I flopped it, 7d10dJd!!

i check and he bets 250, i trap call his bet hoping he has a diamond and one comes off. The turn was the Kd...(my money card if he had the Ad) so i bet out at him for 550, he quickly pushed all in and i was happy to call....nearly threw up when the river came down the Qd and he showed Ad7s

:( must be the worst beat ive ever had, but im in a good modd so it doesnt matter that much

WOW. if you had been on one of the bad-beat tables on certain sites you would have been paid out an absolute fortune on a bad-beat jackpot!

LOL! It's not just any bad beats. It's if your hand is Quads 8's or better and it's beaten then you get quite a bit of money. Not sure of the exact ins and outs, but I am sure you get it for the hand you list above!

Now that is truely horrible.

Nothing like as bad, but in a tourney recently I saw 2 guys ending up all in and each had Aces....you guessed it.....the board was a 4 flush.

By pretty standard I mean there are much worse beats such as runner runner perfect cards for quads over quads etc. I'm not sure this would qualify for a bad beat jackpot as normally both players have to use both of their hole cards.
